Lot 599: An Art Deco Cambridge Glass Co. Frosted Pink 'Draped Lady' Flower Frog

An Art Deco frosted pink glass ‘Draped Lady’ flower frog by the Cambridge Glass Co. The standing female figurine is crafted from translucent, peachy-pink or salmon-colored frosted glass, exhibiting an opalescent or satin finish. The figure depicts a woman with short hair, wearing a simple, draped garment that she appears to hold or adjust with her hands. Stylistically, the piece features simplified forms and graceful lines characteristic of the Art Deco period. It rests on an integral circular base, which displays a subtle decorative pattern around its rim. No discernible text or maker’s marks are visible on the piece.
