Clearing a house is rarely just a job of lifting and shifting. There’s often a lifetime of belongings to sort, and sometimes a sale, a move or a bereavement behind it. We handle clearances week in, week out, and we offer partial or full clearance to suit your needs.

• Partial clearance — we collect the items suitable for sale and bring them back to the saleroom to be entered into auction.
• Full clearance — everything a partial clearance includes, plus disposal of non-saleable items. Rubbish removal is part of the service, so the property is left clear.

How it works and what it costs

It starts with a free, no-obligation quotation. Tell us what needs clearing and we’ll give you an honest view of what’s worth selling and what the job will involve — no pressure either way.

We supply free packaging to keep your items well protected. You can choose to pack your items yourself (which may reduce chargeable hours) or leave it to our team to handle the packing for you.

Our in-house transport and packing team charges £{transport_rate} per hour, which includes travel time, packing, loading and unloading. The minimum charge is one hour.

Probate and special requirements

We also provide valuations for probate purposes — one call and we’ll take it from there.
