Lot 65: A Waltham Model 1908 Grade 610 Gold-Plated Hunter Pocket Watch, circa 1926

A Waltham Model 1908 Grade 610 gold-plated hunter pocket watch, exhibiting a classic early 20th-century style. The watch features a white dial with black Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and blued hands. The dial is clearly marked “Waltham U.S.A.”. The exterior case back is adorned with an ornate engraved monogram. The hinged inner dust cover is inscribed with a dedication: “PRESENTED TO BRO. M.M. STORER. BY THE NORTHUMBERLAND DISTRICT I.O.RECHABITES In Appreciation of his services as D.S.J.T 1925 – 26.” The inner case back contains further markings, including the serial number “635540”, “MOON”, and “MADE IN U.S.A.”, alongside other less distinct hallmarks.
