Lot 243: A Trio of Collectible Figurines and Novelty Glassware featuring Rington's "Beware of the Dog"

A trio of loose collectible items, including two detailed figurines and one piece of novelty glassware. The first figurine is a polystone or ceramic piece depicting a large woman in a flowing yellow dress and turquoise beaded necklace, walking a spotted dog on a leash. The second item is a hand-painted figurine mounted on a detailed base, showing a startled man in a brown suit and hat, leaning away from a spilled basket of items, kneeling next to a black dog near a small white picket fence. The underside of this central statue is marked “INDIVIDUALLY HAND PAINTED PRODUCED EXCLUSIVELY FOR RINGTONS A FAMILY BUSINESS EST. 1907” and includes the phrase “Beware of the Dog.” The third item is a clear novelty glass, molded in the shape of a female torso, featuring white and orange paint accents and the “HOOTERS New York City” logo printed on the chest area.
