Lot 46: A Collection of 5 Entomological Specimens Encased in Resin Blocks

A collection of five natural history entomological specimens permanently encased in rectangular, transparent resin blocks. The specimens are identified by labels on the fitted white insert of the display case. The collection includes a Stick Insect (labeled China), an Antelope Beetle (labeled Asia), a Spine-throated Grasshopper (labeled Asia), a Giant Centipede (labeled Asia), and a Whip Scorpion (labeled American Asia). The blocks are housed within a hinged, clear plastic collector’s case designed to hold ten blocks, with the bottom row currently empty. The insects and arthropods appear well-preserved and fully intact within the resin.
