Lot 22: Lladró May Dance Glazed Porcelain Figurine, Model 5662, Circa 1990

A fine Spanish glazed porcelain figurine by Lladró, titled May Dance and identified by model number 5662. The sculpture depicts a graceful young woman in a fluid pose, wearing a light blue gown and a wide-brimmed pink hat, whilst holding a lavender-coloured shawl out to either side. The piece was designed by sculptor Jose Puche and is characterised by the delicate pastel palette and high-gloss finish synonymous with the maker. The unglazed base displays the blue Lladró trademark, Hand Made in Spain, and a copyright date of © DAISA 1989. The model number 5662 and F-27 S are impressed into the porcelain. This model was issued in 1990 and retired in 2005. No dimensions are available as no scale was provided.
