Lot 522: A Stained Wood Two-Compartment Box with Metal Strapwork

A dark-stained wood box of rectangular form, featuring two interior compartments with individual removable lids topped by turned knobs. The exterior is decorated with applied metal strapwork and a central cross motif, all secured with prominent domed studs in a rustic style. The front is fitted with a metal escutcheon. A faint handwritten pencil inscription reading Mich Ar is present to the underside of the main lid.
