Lot 540: An Assortment of Vintage Folding Pocket Knives and Dressing Table Button Hooks

An assortment of vintage folding pocket knives and dressing table button hooks. The collection includes folding knives featuring handles of mother-of-pearl, imitation pearl, bone, and celluloid. One pen knife with an engine-turned metal handle is marked FRANCE on the blade tang. A small yellow-handled folder is stamped SHEFFIELD to the tang, possibly by Stanley. The group also features a multi-blade knife with an integrated corkscrew and lanyard loop, and a three-blade folder with a brushed metal handle engraved with the initials JTY. Also included are a utility knife with black jigged scales and a blue plastic-handled knife. The button hooks consist of a large ornate piece with a white-metal handle embossed with floral and scroll motifs, and a smaller version with a tapered cream-coloured bone or celluloid handle.
