Lot 590: A Pair of Large Hand-Carved Wooden Spoon and Fork Wall Hangings with Anthropomorphic Handles
A pair of oversized decorative wooden serving utensils, comprising a spoon and a four-tined fork. Hand-carved from a dark-stained wood, the handles are decorated with stacked anthropomorphic figures in the Tiki style, featuring prominent facial features and geometric patterns. Each piece is equipped with a braided natural fibre cord loop for wall hanging, threaded through a pre-drilled hole at the terminal end. The wood grain is visible through the dark finish. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
