Lot 232: An Art Deco Green Satin Glass Fluted Bowl

An Art Deco bowl of elongated boat form, constructed from mint-green glass with a frosted satin finish to the exterior and a smooth glossy interior. The piece is designed with deep radial fluting extending from the circular base to a sharp saw-tooth scalloped rim. This style of glassware was produced by British firms such as Bagley and Sowerby during the 1930s. There are no visible maker marks, etched signatures, or factory stamps on the piece.
