A collection of twenty antique clear glass apothecary or chemist shop round bottles, each of cylindrical form and fitted with a ground glass stopper. The bottles feature Victorian gilt paper labels with black serif lettering and decorative borders. Inscriptions include TR. GUAIAC.A., POTASS. CHLOR., INF. VALER. CONC., INE BUCHU CONC., SP. MENTH. P., TINCT. VALERIAN, TR. CALUMB., TR ZINGI, TR CHIRATAE, and TR. AURANT. CONC. The group comprises a variety of sizes.
Larger bottles: 15 cm to 20 cm in height
Smaller bottles: 10 cm to 12 cm in height.
