Lot 171: A Group of Three Vintage and Collectible Model and Game Sets Including Subbuteo and Corgi

A collection of three vintage toy and model sets. The first is a Subbuteo The Football Game Club Edition produced by Subbuteo Sports Games Ltd. The set is housed in its original card box with a green, white, and red design. It comprises two green fabric bags likely containing the pitch, two plastic goals with white netting, various plastic player figures on weighted bases in red and blue kits, two green plastic flicking accessories, and two balls in white and orange. The items are contained within a custom-moulded polystyrene inner tray.

The second item is a Corgi 100 Years of Flight commemorative die-cast model aircraft set titled Wright to Fly. The set is presented in a clear plastic display tray within a blue card inner box and a further blue card outer protective sleeve. The collection includes four die-cast models: a Wright Flyer, a Supermarine Spitfire, a British Airways Concorde, and a NASA Space Shuttle. The packaging indicates the set was sold in support of the RAF Benevolent Fund Enterprises.

The third item is a constructed plastic scale model of a motor torpedo boat (MTB) with hull number 74. The boat features a hand-painted two-tone grey camouflage scheme. Detailed deck fittings include four torpedo tubes, depth charges, a grey life raft, and an open bridge area equipped with a steering wheel, compass, and a life ring marked HMS.
