A large Faurestware decorative sculpture depicting two jockeys on Thoroughbred horses in a dynamic racing finish. The piece is constructed from a bronzed resin composite with a dark patinated finish and burnished highlights to the raised musculature and drapery. Both horses are captured in mid-stride with wind-swept manes and tails, while the jockeys are rendered in a forward-leaning crouch. The figures are mounted on an integral, heavily textured base designed to simulate turf and churned ground. An incised mark reading © Faurestware is located on the lower rear edge of the base.
