Lot 323: A Parker Duofold Vacumatic Fountain Pen and Parker Quink Ink

A vintage Parker Duofold fountain pen and a bottle of Parker Quink ink. The fountain pen is a streamline model constructed from black celluloid with gold-filled furniture. The barrel features a faint imprint for Geo. S. Parker Parker Duofold Made in Canada. The cap is fitted with a gold-filled Parker arrow pocket clip and a single cap band with an engraved chevron pattern. It is fitted with a 14 carat yellow gold nib stamped Parker Duofold 14K Pen N. The filling mechanism is a Vacumatic plunger system with a silver-tone metal Speedline style plunger accessed by unscrewing the blind cap at the base of the barrel. The glass bottle contains Parker Quink Permanent Blue ink and features a black plastic screw-top lid embossed with the Parker logo.
