Lot 388: A mid-century amber art glass centrepiece bowl 28cm wide

A shallow art glass centrepiece bowl featuring a wide, flat rim and a thick, weighted pedestal base. The glass displays a colour gradient, with a concentrated deep honey-amber core at the base diffusing through the clear body to a pale smoky-yellow tint at the outer rim. The construction is hand-finished with a substantial, heavy base. The underside of the base exhibits a dense network of surface scratches, though no maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible or legible (Image 3).
