Lot 405: A Collection of Fourteen Vintage Brass and Metal Animal and Bird Figurines

A collection of fourteen vintage metal figurines, predominantly cast in brass, depicting various animals and birds. The group includes three peacock figurines: one large example with a highly detailed fanned tail, one smaller example with a fanned tail, and one with a trailing tail. There are two tall, slender wading birds on circular bases and an eagle with outspread wings mounted on a decorated dome base. Further subjects include a seated rabbit, a stylized duck, a Corgi, a Scottish Terrier, and a Basset or Bloodhound head featuring a top ring. The collection is completed by two horse figurines, one realistically modelled with saddle and bridle details and another stylized figure with a black matte finish, and a lizard figurine. All pieces are of cast metal construction with varying surface patinations. No maker’s marks are visible.
Heights range from 3cm to 20cm.
