Lot 410: A Pelham Puppets SL Pinocchio marionette with original box and instructions

A Pelham Puppets SL Pinocchio string-operated marionette. The puppet features a moulded composition head with painted facial features, a protruding nose, and moulded black hair. The hands are also moulded, attached to jointed wooden limbs with black painted wooden feet. The figure is dressed in original fabric clothing consisting of a white shirt, red shorts, a yellow felt waistcoat with blue circular details, a blue bow tie, and a yellow felt hat with a red feather. The marionette is controlled by a wooden cross-bar stamped with the text Pelham Puppets and Made in England. It is housed in the original yellow illustrated cardboard box with Marlborough, Wilts printing. The box end bears a Standard Puppet label and a white paper sticker typed with SL Pinocchio. The lot includes an illustrated instruction leaflet.
