A collection of figures by Memories Handcrafted Figures, manufactured from compressed coal from the North East of England. The group depicts various mining heritage scenes including a miner with a coal tub, a bust of a miner in a scarf and helmet, a miner in a tin bath with a dog, a kitchen range with a coal fire and accessories, and a pit pony with a miner. The bases are lined with green felt, with a paper manufacturer label present to one base.
