Lot 466: A collection of vintage toy vehicles including Thomas & Friends, Corgi, and Matchbox

A large group of die-cast metal and plastic toy vehicles, locomotives, and character figures. The collection features various Thomas & Friends characters produced by Ertl and others, including Thomas the Tank Engine, Percy, Edward, and Toby the Tram Engine, as well as a tugboat character. Featured character vehicles include Snoopy as Joe Cool in a black car and in a green tank, Kermit the Frog in a yellow car, Garfield in a blue car, and cartoon racers featuring characters such as Sylvester the Cat, Woody Woodpecker, and Tom and Jerry. Aircraft and military models comprise a yellow U.S. Army helicopter, a black NASA 905 Space Shuttle, and various aeroplanes. Commercial and road vehicles include examples by Corgi and Matchbox such as a Porsche 911, a green Land Rover, a police car numbered 15, and a large red trailer marked The Real Thing. A Super Racer vehicle is included in its original blue and yellow window box, imported by Product Plus (London) Ltd. Visible markings across the lot include GWR on a green locomotive, 4345 on a red engine, and 2 on a blue engine.
