Lot 50L: Three UK and Gibraltar Silver Coins with The London Mint Office Pouch

Three silver coins comprising two 2019 Gibraltar silver sovereigns and one 1916 UK silver threepence. The two Gibraltar coins feature an obverse portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend ELIZABETH II DEI GRA REGINA GIBRALTAR and the date 2019, paired with a St. George and Dragon reverse. The 1916 silver threepence features a King George V obverse portrait with the legend GEORGIVS V D. G. BRITT: OMN: REX F. D. IND: IMP: and a crowned numeral 3 reverse. The Gibraltar coins are housed in clear plastic capsules, while the threepence is presented in a clear plastic capsule with a black foam insert. The lot is accompanied by a black velvet drawstring pouch bearing a white printed inscription THE LONDON MINT OFFICE beneath a heraldic shield. Also included is a printed certificate of authenticity with the title WORLD’S FIRST SILVER SOVEREIGN featuring illustrations of the coin designs.
