Lot 546: A Pair of Anbrico Scale Models Cast Metal Road Transport Vehicle Kits

A pair of OO scale vehicle kits manufactured by Anbrico Scale Models in Pudsey, West Yorkshire. The group consists of Kit 5, representing a Leyland TD1 (Open Stairs) 1927, and Kit No. 4, representing a Bristol/ECW RELL 36′ Series 2. As stated on the packaging, the kits are constructed from cast metal bodies with aluminium wheel hubs and rubber tyres. Each kit is housed in its original cardboard box, featuring an adhesive white paper label printed in black with ‘-ANBRICO- ROAD TRANSPORT VEHICLE KITS’, a monochrome illustration of the model, and the manufacturer’s address, ‘PUDSEY WEST YORKSHIRE ENGLAND LS28 7PZ’. The Leyland TD1 label is further printed with ‘KIT 5 LEYLAND TD1 ( OPEN STAIRS ) 1927’, and the Bristol label is printed with ‘KIT No. 4 BRISTOL/ECW RELL 36′ SERIES 2’. A handwritten pencil mark reading ’48-60′ is visible on the upper left corner of the Leyland kit label. The kits are sold as found; internal components have not been verified for completeness.
