Lot 62: A Collection of Vintage Costume Jewellery and Personal Accessories including Two Decorative Boxes
A comprehensive collection of vintage costume jewellery and personal accessories, primarily from the mid-20th century. The lot comprises an assortment of necklaces, brooches, earrings, rings, bracelets, and gentleman’s accessories.
Necklaces include several strands of faux pearls, featuring a boxed double-strand set by Perlas Manacor of Mallorca. Other examples include multi-strand beaded necklaces in purple, pink, and white glass and plastic, Art Deco style silver-tone necklaces set with clear and green paste stones, and various gold-tone and silver-tone chains. One gold-tone pendant of square form is set with amber-coloured glass stones, and a small charm is stamped MALLORCA.
Brooches consist of silver-tone and gold-tone examples in floral, foliate, and abstract designs, including a textured crescent brooch. These are set with clear, coloured, and aurora borealis rhinestones. One brooch features white opaque petal-form elements.
Earrings and rings include clip-on and screw-back earrings in floral and drop designs. Rings include a pave-set dome ring and examples set with faux pearls and coloured glass.
Bracelets include a cream plastic bangle set with blue rhinestones and an amber-coloured glass and resin bead bracelet.
