Lot 713: A Collection of Approximately 36 Miniature Glazed Ceramic Animal Figurines and Wooden Display House

A collection of approximately 36 miniature glazed ceramic animal figurines accompanied by a themed wooden display house. The assortment includes a diverse variety of wildlife and domestic subjects, including hedgehogs, rabbits, owls, fawns, camels, giraffes, hippopotami, elephants, monkeys, zebras, cows, sheep, fish, and various breeds of dog and cat. Each figure is finished in a glossy tonal glaze. Several examples bear impressed marks on the underside; a mark reading ENGLAND is visible on the base of several figurines (photo 2 and 3), though adjacent characters are not clearly legible as a specific maker name. The wooden display rack is finished with a dark stain and features a gabled roof decorated with an incised shingle pattern.
