Lot 716: A weathered cast stone garden figure of a seated bathing woman 59cm

A cast stone garden sculpture depicting a seated female nude in a contemplative pose. The figure is shown with an inclined head and legs crossed, resting on an integral rock-form base. The surface is heavily weathered with a textured, pitted finish, retaining some areas of a white painted or lime-washed coating. The sculpture is modelled with one arm resting across the lap and the other hand placed upon the knee. There are no maker’s marks, signatures, or inscriptions visible on the piece.
