Lot 754: A Collection of Vintage Airfix HO/OO Scale Plastic Model Railway Kits

A collection of six Airfix plastic model railway construction kits in their original cardboard boxes. The group consists of four later yellow Series 3 boxes and two earlier white boxes designed for HO/OO and OO scales. The yellow boxes comprise a Kiosks and Steps kit featuring a newspaper kiosk, tobacconist and shop; a Booking Hall kit including printed timetables and posters; a Water Tower kit with pillar and girder construction; and a Trackside Accessories kit including a coal office, water crane, and loading gauge. The earlier white boxes contain a Footbridge and an Engine Shed. The yellow boxes feature a printed circular logo in red, white, and black reading AIRFIX, along with the text HO/OO MODEL KIT – MODELE REDUIT and three printed flags for the United Kingdom, France, and West Germany. The Trackside Accessories box is printed with the text MADE IN ENGLAND. The white Footbridge box features a printed circular logo in blue, white, and black reading AIRFIX. The white and green Engine Shed box features a printed circular logo in green, black, and white reading AIRFIX. Both earlier boxes are printed with the text OO SCALE.
