A late 19th-century Russian Mosin-Nagant Model 1891 socket bayonet constructed from steel. The piece features a cruciform four-sided spike blade with deep longitudinal fullers, terminating in a flat, screwdriver-shaped tip. The offset arm connects the blade to a cylindrical socket assembly equipped with a rotating locking collar and a slotted securing screw. The socket is stamped with characters including an ‘O’ above the numerals ‘1081’. A metal ring and string are loosely tied through the locking ring slot.
