Lot 292: A Set of Five Ribbed Glass Apothecary Bottles

A set of five clear glass apothecary bottles of uniform cylindrical form. Each bottle features a body decorated with vertical reeded glass extending from the base to a rounded shoulder. The short necks have flared, ground glass rims. Each bottle is fitted with a matching ground glass stopper with a flat, T-shaped top, currently secured to the neck with aged twine. The lower edge of the bottles bears embossed characters including the letters C and H; further characters or numbers below these are not legible.
