Lot 513: A contemporary hand blown sommerso art glass vase with internal inclusions 43cm tall

A large contemporary studio art glass vase of flattened oviform shape with an asymmetrical undulating rim. The thick-walled body is executed in the sommerso technique, suspending internal decorative elements within layers of clear glass. One side features a broad vertical sweep of translucent teal-blue glass, while the opposing side incorporates organic abstract inclusions in shades of opaque white, dark plum, and mid-blue, intersected by fine vertical green trailing lines. The vase stands on a polished, flat circular base. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the piece.
