Lot 106: 2022 Isle of Man Platinum Jubilee Silver Sovereign

A 2022 Isle of Man silver sovereign coin, commemorating the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The coin is struck in 999/1000 fine silver. The obverse features a profile portrait of the Queen, designed by Jody Clark, with the surrounding inscription QUEEN ELIZABETH II · ISLE OF MAN · 2022. The reverse, designed by Neil Bromley, displays a central heraldic shield bearing the crowned E II R cypher and the Roman numerals MMXXII for 2022. The shield is surmounted by a Triskelion and framed by a floral border including roses, thistles, and shamrocks. The lower edge is marked SILVER .999. The coin is presented in a clear protective capsule within a black triptych-style wooden display case with a velvet-lined interior. Accompanied by a Certificate of Provenance from CPM.
