A vintage industrial articulated desk lamp constructed from red painted steel and cast iron with chrome-plated tension springs. The lamp features a three-stepped square cast base and a conical metal shade with a rolled rim. The articulated arm system is supported by three springs and retains an early black plastic or bakelite-style lamp holder. It is fitted with a black braided fabric-covered power flex.

The base of the vertical support arm features an impressed rectangular panel with raised lettering reading THE ANGLEPOISE PAT. IN U.K AND ABROAD.

The electrical cord is currently unfinished, ending in frayed wires without a mains plug. This item is sold as a collector’s piece and requires professional rewiring and safety testing by a qualified electrician before use.
