A 9 carat yellow gold necklace featuring a pear-shaped pendant. The pendant is set with a single teardrop-shaped mother-of-pearl cabochon, held within a yellow gold frame featuring a textured, notched outer border and a polished reverse. The pendant is suspended by a plain polished bale from a close-knit curb link chain. The chain secures with a lobster claw clasp. The necklace is presented in a grey hinged jeweler’s box, the interior lid of which features gold printed lettering reading Roger Russell Jeweller Whitley Bay & Bedlington.

The clasp is struck with a small rectangular mark reading 375. The pendant bale bears several stamped marks including a 375 mark and further indistinct assay office symbols.
