Lot 415: large Romantic Style Bonded Bust of a Young Woman with a Rose 60cm tall

A bust of a young woman, cast in resin with a matte off-white finish. The subject is depicted in profile, looking downwards with a contemplative expression. Her hair is styled in loose waves, gathered by a narrow headband and falling over her left shoulder. A large, detailed rose blossom with accompanying leaves is draped across her right shoulder, integrated into the simple, low-cut bodice of her garment. The piece features an integral flared square plinth base. The construction appears to be a resin process, exhibiting uniform surface texture and cast details typical of resin composites. There are no visible maker’s marks, signatures, or inscriptions on the sculpture or its base.
