Lot 443: A Pair of Unique Art Polished Metal Leaf Form Trays

A pair of contemporary decorative trays or serving platters, each fashioned into an elongated, stylized willow leaf form. The trays are constructed from a polished, silvery-toned metal, featuring a rippled, hammered surface with longitudinal ribbing that replicates the natural veins of a leaf. Each piece is fitted with a different style of handle at the tapered stem end: one tray has a dark, turned wood handle finished with a small brass-toned finial, while the other features a tapered, cast brass handle. One tray is stamped to the underside with a black-printed mark reading UNIQUE ART in a sans-serif typeface.
