Lot 479: Two Religious Figurines Depicting the Virgin Mary

Two religious figurines depicting the Virgin Mary. The first is a full-length standing figure of Our Lady of Grace, depicted in a white gown and blue cloak with arms outstretched. She stands upon a naturalistic base featuring a serpent and yellow stars, mounted to a stepped black plinth. The core material is a cast composite. The underside is covered in a worn dark green felt-like material. The second item is a bust depicting the Virgin Mary with the Christ child, both framed within a green veil. The figure is finished in polychrome tones and sits on a textured base with a wood-grain effect. The underside of the bust features an adhesive gold-tone rectangular label that reads HAND PAINTED FIGURE ITALY.
