Lot 483: A Collection of Costume Jewellery Including Bib Necklaces, Pendants, and Brooch

A varied assortment of costume jewellery presented on a purple damask-patterned board. The collection includes a gold-tone multi-strand bib necklace featuring tiered, ribbed plates; a gold-tone fringe collar necklace with articulated rectangular segments; and a multi-strand faux pearl necklace in champagne tones. Further necklaces include a strand of large amber-coloured and faceted resin beads with wire-wrap details; a long multi-strand green and brown bead necklace with yellow-green ovoid elements; and a black beaded strand with a dark hematite-style cross pendant.

Pendants include a large square decorative panel with a central blue evil eye motif on a multi-strand cord; a silver-tone chain with a heart-shaped tree of life pendant set with turquoise-coloured chips; and a long lariat-style cord with red ceramic beads and a large, iridescent square abalone shell pendant. The lot also features a thin silver-tone chain with a spherical filigree cage pendant, a long green and blue bead strand, and various fine silver-tone and gold-tone chains.

Complementing the necklaces are a wide, silver-tone multi-row stretch cuff bracelet set with clear faceted rhinestones and a silver-tone brooch in the form of a rose, pavé-set with small clear stones. The items use a variety of base metals, resins, glass, and natural shell. Clasps present include lobster claw and spring ring types. No maker’s marks or metal fineness hallmarks are visible.
