Lot 495: Hornby R 1048 The Western Pullman OO Gauge Electric Train Set

A Hornby R 1048 The Western Pullman OO gauge electric model train set. The set features a GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 steam locomotive and matching tender in British Railways lined green livery. The locomotive is finished with a brass-effect nameplate reading CADBURY CASTLE and carries the running number 7028 to the cab sides. The rolling stock consists of four Pullman coaches in traditional brown and cream livery, comprising Car No 54, Chloria, Aurelia, and Car No 27, each with printed PULLMAN lettering and crests. The set includes a starter oval of track with Track Packs A and B to create a layout with two sidings. Electrical components include a Hornby R.965 train controller marked Made in England, a mains power adapter, and connector wires.
