Lot 621: A Collection of Vintage Costume and Sterling Silver Jewellery

A varied group of vintage costume and estate jewellery. The collection includes a double-strand necklace of translucent amber-toned resin or glass faceted barrel beads, individually knotted on cord. A wide silver-tone omega snake chain necklace is present, alongside a delicate silver-tone lariat-style necklace set with three small clear round stones. The group features a gold-tone curb link chain and a fine gold-tone rope chain. A large silver-tone circular filigree pendant with an openwork floral design is suspended on a link chain, terminating in a Hamsa hand drop. A single strand of graduated cream-coloured simulated pearls is knotted and fitted with a decorative silver-tone box clasp featuring an engraved floral pattern.

The collection includes several pairs of earrings. One pair of drop earrings features polished amber-coloured cabochons in decorative leaf-like silver mounts; the hook of one earring is struck with the number 925, indicating it is sterling silver. Other earrings consist of gold-tone textured hoop earrings with a diamond pattern, two-tone ribbed C-hoops, and plain silver-tone C-hoops. Also present is an oval cameo-style pendant or brooch with a cream profile on a black ground in a scalloped gold-tone frame, and a gold-tone spray brooch set with multiple small white simulated pearls.
