Lot 74: Two Pieces of Silver and Amber Jewellery Comprising a Pendant Necklace and Floral Brooch

A two-piece lot of silver and amber jewellery including a large pendant on a chain and a stylized floral brooch. The pendant features a large rectangular cabochon of Baltic amber with internal spangle inclusions, held in a plain silver rub-over setting with an openwork Celtic knotwork bale. It is suspended from a silver oval link cable chain. The chain is secured by a bolt ring clasp. The brooch is designed as a stylized leaf or flower, set with two freeform polished amber cabochons and two white cultured pearls at the centre. The silver clasp of the necklace is stamped STERLING. The reverse of the brooch stem features two rectangular stamped marks; one depicts a profile of a head facing right and the other is stamped 925.
