A panoramic Cullercoates coastal landscape executed in watercolour on paper by P.T. Morrod. The work depicts a seaside village with traditional fishing boats, or cobles, resting on the beach. One vessel is marked with the registration SN 145 for North Shields. The background features white-washed cottages and a building with a spire situated on a cliff edge. The artist has used layered washes to depict the hazy sky and incoming tide. Signed P.T. Morrod in the lower-left corner. Presented in a broad metallic bronze-toned wooden cove frame.
