Lot 109: A 20th-century British School pencil drawing titled 'SUNDAY MORNING'

A 20th-century British School pencil drawing on wove paper titled SUNDAY MORNING. The study depicts a domestic scene with a figure seated in an armchair, reading a newspaper and holding a cigarette. A cup and saucer are shown on the floor in the foreground. The work is executed in pencil with tonal shading. The title SUNDAY MORNING is inscribed in pencil block capitals at the lower left of the drawing. It is presented in an off-white mount and a dark-stained wooden frame with a textured finish. The reverse is sealed with brown paper and fitted with a hanging wire.
