Lot 121: A YamahaFS1E motorcycle fuel tank and dual seat 1974/75 (N Plate)

A Yamaha motorcycle fuel tank and dual-passenger seat finished in metallic Brilliant Purple with white racing stripes. The tank is of steel construction and features two screw-on metal badges with raised gold-tone Yamaha lettering on a black ground. It is fitted with a chrome-plated flip-top filler cap stamped with the Yamaha tuning fork logo and a single-outlet gravity-fed petcock with O and S markings. The matching seat is upholstered in black ribbed vinyl with a passenger grab strap and a chrome-effect trim strip at the base. The rear of the seat features white printed Yamaha lettering. The seat is mounted on a black-painted metal pan with rubber buffers. These components are consistent with 1971 Yamaha DS7 250cc and R5 350cc models and may be compatible with other contemporary RD-series twins. Part number not visible.
