Lot 155: Late Victorian Mahogany Countertop Display Case 45x40cm

A countertop shop display case constructed from mahogany with a natural finish wooden base. The case features five-sided glazing with glass panels to the top and all four sides. The front glass panel is set within a wooden frame designed as a vertical-sliding rising door. The top frame is secured with flush-mounted brass flathead screws. A small brass thumb catch is mounted to the lower rail of the sliding front door. Handwritten ink characters reading 11/A are located on the front left corner of the interior wooden base.
