Lot 154: Two Items of Advertising Memorabilia including a 2011 Guinness Bottle Shaped Chopping Board and a Couroc of Monterey Levi Strauss & Co Commemorative Tray

A lot of two advertising collectables. The first is a tempered glass chopping board shaped in the silhouette of a Guinness bottle, featuring a textured surface with applied labels for Guinness Original and Guinness Extra Stout. The graphics include the Arthur Guinness signature and reference to St. James’s Gate, Dublin. The piece is marked to the lower front edge © GUINNESS & CO 2011. The second item is a rectangular serving tray manufactured by Couroc of Monterey, constructed from black phenolic resin. The tray features a central circular inlay with a wood grain background and a brass-toned border embossed with Levi Strauss & Co, S. F. Cal. and two stars. The reverse is embossed with the manufacturer’s mark and retains a gold foil label commemorating the achievement of $2 billion in sales for the company.
