Lot 174: A pair of miniature Chinese cloisonne enamel vases mini

A pair of miniature Chinese cloisonne enamel vases of baluster form. The first vase features a pale cream ground decorated with pink and white flowering branches and green foliage, finished with a blue ruyi-head border to the shoulder. The second vase displays a dense floral design including a lotus flower in shades of blue and purple set against a gilt ground with green foliate scrolls. Both vases are made from gilt metal and have interiors and bases coated in turquoise counter-enamel. No marks are present on the undersides.
