Lot 179: A Collection of Middle Eastern Brass and Metalware Including a Jambiya Dagger and Tray

An assortment of Middle Eastern metalware presented on a large circular tray. The collection includes two matching brass Dallah coffee pots of traditional form, each featuring an elongated curved spout and a hinged lid with a tiered finial. A small decorative hookah is constructed from brass and dark metal, featuring a flexible hose wrapped in red, yellow, and gold thread. The traditional Jambiya dagger has a curved, double-edged steel blade with a central ridge, a dark hilt decorated with metal wire-work, and a partial decorative scabbard featuring ornate repousse metalwork. The circular brass tray has a scalloped edge and is engraved with concentric bands of geometric patterns and a central medallion containing Arabic calligraphy. Also included is a small circular lidded box with floral metal inlay, a silver-toned metal mug with a flared base, and a miniature brass Dallah.
