The trinket box is modelled as a turtle with a segmented shell, featuring a pinned hinge at the rear and a textured interior surface. The door knocker is designed in the Victorian style as a clenched fist clutching a ball, mounted on a rectangular backplate with two countersunk screw holes. The nutcrackers are cast with a central pivot, featuring handles and a head modelled as a parrot or macaw with textured feather detailing. None of the pieces show visible maker marks or stamps.
