Lot 209: A Collection of Vintage Brass and Copper Decorative Objects including a Lago di Como Souvenir Cannon

A collection of eight vintage decorative and utilitarian objects primarily constructed from cast and turned brass. The set features a tall handbell with a slender turned handle and a flared bell, a sugar sifter with a domed pierced lid and engraved foliate decoration, and a miniature cannon with a cast brass barrel mounted on a two-wheeled carriage. The cannon barrel is marked with the printed text Lago di Como. Also included is a brass mortar with a relief-decorated base and a matching turned pestle, a nautical ship’s wheel bottle opener, and a small copper cream jug with brass handle and fittings. Completing the lot is a decorative key rack comprising three large brass keys suspended from a horse head horseshoe plaque, and a single decorative drawer boss.
