Lot 216: A Pair of DCUK Hand-Carved Bamboo Root Runner Duck Figurines H47cm

A pair of hand-carved wooden runner duck figurines by DCUK (The Duck Company UK). The bodies are fashioned from bamboo root, featuring the material’s distinctive pitted and speckled grain. The heads, necks, and legs are carved from a smooth, close-grained wood finished with a clear polish. One duck is presented in an upright stargazing pose, while the other features a head turned to the side. Both ducks stand on flat, webbed wooden feet. The underside of one foot bears a black ink stamp with the letters dcuk within a circular border.
