Lot 217: A Trio of DCUK Bamboo Root and Hardwood Duck Figurines

A trio of graduated stylized duck figurines by DCUK (The Duck Company UK). The set features three birds in distinct poses: a tall standing duck with an upright neck, a medium sized duck with an open beak, and a smaller duck with its beak pointing upwards. The bodies are carved from bamboo root, showcasing the natural speckled and fibrous grain of the material. The heads, necks, and feet are crafted from a smooth, dark toned hardwood finished to a warm lustre. The underside of the largest duck is marked with the black circular dcuk brand stamp. The construction of the largest bird includes visible metal pins at the leg and foot joints.
