Lot 279: A Vintage Sol-Tan Industrial Table Lamp

A British-made industrial table lamp by Sol-Tan, originally designed as a therapeutic heat lamp. The piece features a large parabolic spun aluminium reflector mounted on a teal-painted steel U-shaped bracket. The assembly is supported by a stepped cream-coloured circular base, which retains its original riveted metal manufacturer plaque marked Sol-Tan British Made. The lamp is fitted with a black rubber-insulated power cord and a standard UK three-pin plug embossed with Ever Ready. It features a black bakelite tilt adjustment knob and is pictured in working condition with a frosted GLS bulb.
